Style Icon: Carine Roitfeld

This week’s Style Icon is the mother of last week’s but do not let that retract from her absolute right to be here.

The Editor-In-Chief of French Vogue magazine – Carine Roitfeld – is the queen of grown-up grunge glamour:

Carine Roitfeld was scouted at 18 and later gained work as a writer and stylist for French ELLE magazine before working as a freelance stylist.

Since becoming Editor-In-Chief of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld has been a regular on the front rows at Fashion Week, indeed for some rather wonderful photographs of Roitfeld rocking the animal print trend at London Fashion Week last month, check out these Street Style Pics by Polka Dot.

From fur coats to statement heels, black leather to pencil skirts, Carine Roitfeld’s sharp-dressing is earning her Style Icon status everywhere she goes:

  1. I love learning about each of your choices. Carine has such great legs and she shows them off so well.

Love her! That pink goat hair coat she's wearing in that pic is so fab!
